The Day in Detail
The day is part of a series of UK-wide Garden Masterclasses that aim to bring together gardeners and designers with the very best and most innovative people in the gardening world through one day workshops.
The theme for the Scottish leg of the big tour is, appropriately enough, ‘Scottish Gardens Looking Forward.’

James Alexander Sinclair – you may recognise him from the telly. Very entertaining man. Knows a thing or two about plants too.
James Alexander-Sinclair, looks at how good garden design can make the most of the huge range of plants we have available.
Colin McBeath presents a new take on planting design and Gavin McNaughton of Macplants gives a demonstration of how to propagate perennials.
